The fundamental rules behind how to speak in an assertive and impressive manner can be useful to all of us. Some of these are:

1) Practice speaking from deep.
Most of us do not involve our entire body when we talk. You breath shallowly and this greatly affects the manner in which you speak. The resonance should come from deep and not only from throat, neck and head. Try to origin your voice from chest or even deeper.

This is not tough. You just have to do some minor alterations in the way you breathe. Practice deep breathing. To begin with trying saying, “aahhh aahhh aahhh” out aloud. Try speaking while breathing this way. You will soon discover that your voice is more deep this way and is more easy to garner anyone’s attention with this kind of voice. Practice this on a daily basis and soon you will change the way you breath and your style of speaking will change too.

Practice this whenever convenient to you. Do it in the car while driving to your office, or while you take a bath or wherever you feel comfortable.

2) Speak with more passion so as to sound excited.
Many of us though are passionate about things but we can transfer this passion when we communicate. This gives others the impression that we are interested in nothing.

People who speak good or who are charismatic and really attractive are so because of the way they can portray their excitement while they speak. You can acquire this skill by speaking excitedly. Show your passion and high energy while you are talking.

Just imagine this. A device is tied on to your forehead, which can show a reading about how good you speak. A shy man will generally score low, say around 1 or 2 only out of a scale of ten. Your aim should be score high on this device, say around 6 to begin with and then gradually move to scoring higher and higher and ultimately reaching 10. Wait! Why should 10 be your limit. You should be so good at your talking that device should overload!

Practice is the only key. Take any topic under the sky and talk about it excitedly for a minute or so. Do this alone or with a friend. Let all your inhibitions melt away and just focus on speaking excitedly. As you do this, gradually you will become more successful in striking great conversations with women. And you will become really interesting and attractive person. I can even guarantee, that you can become a real seduction artist by practicing this.

3) When you speak, be confident.
Don't be afraid of being definite about things. Men become shy because it has been their experience that speaking with certainty has very harsh results like a punishment or scolding from others. Hence they approach to speak only permissible things so as to stay “in the circle” and not be outcaste. This might be true in your family but women find this absolutely boring. If you are introvert, people will get bored with you and you should now start to speak with a certain surety and confidence.

The best way to do this work up your language. When you speak remove all the ambiguous words and phrases. Try not to use phrases like “I think”, “ I guess” etc. This doesn’t show that you are sure. Instead say “Yes” or “That’s what I want”. So next time when you want to say “I guess we can sit there”, say “let us sit there”. This tips appears small but it can make a big difference and can improve your impression on people and especially the women you interact with.

It’s a natural order – some men are naturally capable of speaking good, while some of us have to learn it. But it is certainly not impossible to become a charismatic person. All the best to you!
