I Once knew a man who was respected, honorable, and wealthy... He had a personal disposition that was harsh in it's exterior, yet very clearly gentle in his heart.
This man, who's name was Clifftonio was a genious.
He seemed to have the midas touch, if he wanted wealth, he acquired it immediately, if it was love, again, almost instantly he would experience the full brunt of unbridled love... Yet he was the sadest man in our world.
Do you know why?

This one kind of reminds me of a little book I read some years ago with 200 little "questions" for discussion or your latest cocktail party. One went thus, "If you could have all your needs for food, shelter and comfort met, but be condemned to forever be in a dream state and never wake up, would you do it?
As hard as life gets sometimes, I said "no" to this one..Is it more important to dream, or to have actually achieved something? I guess either answer is legitimate...
I liked your question Amy, but I don't know if I have the answer. Know this, I don't think it has anything to do with horses and weiners...

Perhaps the man never really had anything to look forward to. After all, if you can get anything on a whim, there is no challenge and no plan.
Or maybe he just wanted to be a genius instead of a genious. |

I just love questions like this..
If we do not know good, how can we know what is evil?
If we never experience love, how can we ever know what lonliness feels like?
If we always have everything handed to us, how can we every know the joy of personal achievement? |
