|
|
I have wondered just who was the first person (in the west) to use the term "law of attraction"?
Ralph Waldo Trine writes about the law of attraction in his book, In Tune with the Infinite first published in 1899.
| Quote: | | There is in connection with thought forces what we may call the drawing power of mind, and the great law operating here is one with the great law of the universe, that like attracts like. We are continually attracting to us, from both the seen and the unseen side of life, forces and condictions most akin to our own thoughts. ITWTI, p23 |
I have heard on a CD by Michael Domeyko Rowland that Madame Blavatsky first used the term (in the west).
Does anyone know any thing further? |

The Quakers had a motto, "pray, but move your feet" to create the momentum for the manifestation to begin to happen.
You can dream of being a champion athlete, but you still have to put on your running shoes and head out the door.
Nothing happens until you provide the energy to "move forward in the direction of your dream".
Every day, say to yourself, "will what I am doing right now move me closer (or further away) from my dream?"
Your confidence and faith in your dream grows stronger and stronger everytime you notice you are moving another step closer - you get a warm feeling that you can believe in the quantum leap you are taking.
You can become unstoppable when you feel your power gaining strength inside you. |

The earliest one I have heard about is The New York Times used on April 6th, 1879. Not sure to be true or not and I have no idea about what's was written about it. _________________
