I read Louis de Bernieres: The Troublesome offspring of Cardinal Guzman. It's the last book of great surreal trilogy of imaginary Latin American country.
If you like humoourous, imaginative and superbly written books try
any of Louis de Bernieres |

My summer reads have been "The Fountainhead" by Ayn Rand (don't think much of her objectivist philosophy, but really dig her interest in architecture, one of her houses in California was built, I believe, by Richard Neutra). I tried to take a crack at "Atlas Shrugged" as well, but petered out about 200 pages into it...
I've read the Da Vinci Code (no big whoop)
My favorite read of the moment is a Martha Stewart cookbook, a baking manual. |

I just finished (at last) the Dark Tower series from Stephen King yep it was a lot of reading. As always he managed to put the weirdest ending onto the end of a great big book.
also I finished the diskworld series from terry pratchet - Funniest Books Ever!! _________________ Ok...... Is that your final answer?? |

| The Brothers Karamazov, but infrequently. I'm preoccupied with other things right now. |

I bought "Thirteenth Tale" about 2 months ago and have yet to read it. I also noticed that Audible.com has the book for download, but audiobooks put me to sleep, no matter what the book is about...

Great book and movie although if you haven't read the book first you loose the movie impact and meanings. If you haven't already done so I suggest you read Dan Brown's other 3 books that he has written. He is an incredible writer that really capture's the reader that it's difficult to put the book down. I read each one within 2-3 days. "Angels & Demons", "Deception Point" and "Digital Fortress". All excellent.

| I'm reading Thomas Harris' The Silence of the Lambs. I watched the movie and got interested. So now I'm in middle of it. Very interesting. |
